Human Rights

The UK adheres to the European Convention on Human Rights, which prevents us from sending anyone to a country where there is a real risk that they will be exposed to torture, or inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

If are not eligible to apply for asylum, you may be able to apply for Discretionary Leave in the UK under humanitarian grounds.  At Elm Rose Consultancy, we always assess our clients’ human rights when dealing with their immigration matter, even if the application is not based on a human rights argument.  If necessary, we will put these forward in any representations we submit on your behalf.

Contact us if you believe that you should be granted Discretionary Leave based on human rights or if your asylum claim has been refused.
