Please note that this route will close in April 2012. You should plan to apply before 1 April 2012 to avert any problems.
The closure means that you will not be able to apply under Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) from the date in April 2012 when the scheme is closed. If you have studied in a UK educational institution and have your qualification, you can apply under this work route. If you plan to apply, you must ensure that your funds have been in your account for a three-month period before you apply.
Other work routes you may apply under include the Tier 2 route. If you obtain a Post-Study Work visa, you can switch into the Tier 2 route before the end of your visa to obtain further leave to remain in the UK. We can advise you on the options available to you.
